This Privacy Policy explains how Yard Sale Inventory ("the app", "we", "our") handles your information.

1. Information You Add to the App

The app lets you create and manage inventory data such as item names, descriptions, categories, prices, sale status, events, seller names, notes, and photos.

This information is entered by you and is primarily stored locally on your device.

2. iCloud Sync

If you enable iCloud sync, your app data, including item and event information and associated photos, may be synced and backed up through Apple iCloud / CloudKit so it can be available across your devices.

iCloud sync is optional. If you do not enable it, your data remains stored locally on your device.

3. Photos

The app may access your camera or photo library when you choose to add photos to items or events, or when using photo-based search features.

Photos are only accessed when you explicitly choose to use those features.

4. Subscriptions and Purchases

The app offers optional premium subscriptions through Apple's in-app purchase system.

Purchase processing, billing, subscription management, and payment information are handled by Apple. We do not receive your full payment details.

5. Analytics and Tracking

The app does not use third-party advertising SDKs and does not track you across apps or websites for advertising purposes.

Any sales analytics shown in the app are generated from the inventory and sales data you enter.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data.

We do not share your app data with third parties except when required to provide app functionality through Apple services such as iCloud / CloudKit, the App Store, or StoreKit.

7. Data Retention

Your data remains available until you delete it from the app, remove the app, or disable and remove synced data from your Apple account where applicable.

8. Your Choices

• You can choose whether to enable iCloud sync.
• You can choose whether to grant access to the camera or photo library.
• You can delete items, events, photos, and app data at any time from within the app.

9. Children's Privacy

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page with the updated date.
